Voter registration in Madison County is governed by the Code of Alabama and the federal National Voter Registration Act (commonly known as "motor voter").
The Board of Registrars sends to each voter a certificate of registration that includes the address of that voter’s polling location.
Each registered voter has the right to vote.
A voter may cast an absentee ballot if they meet the required criteria.
Military and Overseas voters may receive an absentee ballot in two ways.
